The first TEDxKazimierz Adventure – summary

The first TEDxKazimierz Adventure has been held in Artefakt Café on 25 February 2016. Event was themed as a Volunteer Appreciation Day.

After welcoming guests the time has come to break some ice. Opening icebreaker was a bingo styled game, which required searching for people, who for instance: ran a marathon, has been mistaken for a TV personality, can play an instrument and many more. The activity certainly had fulfilled its purpose.

Later on the following organizations: Regional Volunteer Centre in Cracow, Towarzystwo Pomocy Głuchoniemym and TEDxKazimierz / TEDxKazimierz Adventure had presented their activities and issued a call to action.

Afterwards screening of two TED Talks: “How to start a movement” by Derek Sivers and Are you a human? by Ze Frank had taken place. Both talks had given great insight creating community.

Subsequently International Bund had taken over the stage to talk about their current projects as well as to appreciate their volunteers. The presentation was followed by a complement shootaround icebreaker game, which required participants to talk and complement each other.

The Event was concluded by national greek Music concert. Performance of Danai Kouvara Was marvelous.
