Entertainers: Słowiany

The colorful characters, energetic music and Slavic spirit. These terms are the most relevant for describing folk-rock band “Slowiany”. Their music is a huge dose of positive energy that attracts the attention of everyone regardless of age. The team consists of 6 professional musicians and was developed in 2012 by the initiative of marriage Oleksander and Iryna Dracz from Ukraine, who graduated from the Academy of Music. The powerful sound of the songs is given by electric guitar, double bass and acoustic drums, which combined with the characteristic accordion makes a unique new dimension of folk music in the world. The band’s repertoire includes both own musical works and folk songs from different Slavic countries like Ukraine, Poland, Serbia and Bulgaria. Furthermore, “Sloviany” was succeeded in “Must Be The Music” Television Program in 2014, where they received the best possible jury rating.
